By applying for the registration of your home’s name with the National Home Registry applicants represent that, to the best of their knowledge, their proposed name is unique, does not violate the rights or conflict with the names owned or used by others and is not intended for commercial use.  The Company does not confirm or verify the accuracy of any information submitted by the registrant and assumes no responsibility therefor. The National Home Registry does not warrant any rights to use of any registered name or ownership of any property for which a name has been registered.

All liability of the National Home Registry, whether in contract or in tort, in connection with any registration in the National Home Registry shall be limited to a refund of any registration fees actually paid. The National Home Registry will not under any circumstances be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages in connection with any registration or package.

National Home Registry reserves the right to cancel any registration if the Company believes that the registration violates any applicable law or the rights of third parties. Upon cancellation, National Home Registry will refund a prorated portion of the then-current annual fee or renewal fee based on the number of days remaining in the term. Registering a home with the National Home Registry does not entitle the registrant to any trademark, service mark, or copyright protections. Registrants are solely responsible for their own trademarks, service marks, and copyrights.

Registration with the National Home Registry does not afford legal protection for the name of your home in any state or otherwise guarantee that others may not adopt or use the same name for any purpose.

If a court rules that a particular home name may not be used, what had been previously registered, National Home Registry will abide by the court’s decision and immediately rescind the name from the registry. In such a case, a refund of all dues paid to the National Home Registry by the member will be made.
